Shapes, Symbols and Icons

Shapes, Symbols and Icons are the three basic picture libraries available in Mutapic.

Shapes are images without meaning. Most geometric pictures and patterns are shapes. Shapes are useful if you want to create a completely original image, for example a logo for a new company.

Symbols are meaningful images in a particular culture. Symbols are based on abstract shapes and are given meaning by a group of people. The Mutapic library contains a large number of familiar and exotic symbols, some of them will be meaningful for you and others will look like abstract shapes.

Icons are the simplified representation of real world objects and natural forms. In general they have the same meaning for everybody and are good for communication.
